Tonight will likely be a nightmare for the Sabres. I'll be there to watch it unfold. The level they tried to keep the whole night last night waned in the last 5 minutes of the game. It should be interesting to see how they play tonight. I am not anticipating much as the Kings, on paper at the very least, are leaps and bounds better.

Yeah, VV could end up losing a regular spot. With that said, let's hope McNabb continues to grow, as I've been mostly a critic to his play thus far. What scares me is, he's partnering with Greene. Both of them seem more of the immobile type of defensemen, meaning they could easily get exposed by some younger, faster Buffalo forwards. Greene slated playing with second-pairing minutes is additionally scary. He's great, but as a third-pairing guy only.

At any rate, I'm looking forward to see how this edited defense pans out.

I agree with this post as the Kings for some reason DO tend to not play their best games against some of the weaker opponents at times. Not always, but it does tend to happen. I'm looking forward to "that '70s line" lighting the lamp a few times

Still tentative. Kings playing it tight to the vest.

I'm not the most comfortable with Muzz being rushed back in there on the account of VV's issues. Muzz has stated himself that he's not 100% and that he has no issues with skating and everything involved with the lower body aspect of the game, but something tells me if he gets banged a little bit early tonight he's not going to feel real good about playing. And a tentative player is a bad player and one that is more prone to being injured by hesitating and not playing at full speed... You know BUF will be dumping it to his corner early and often to try and get a bang on him to get the Kings to 5 dmen.
Sucks there's no other option, but we'll see what happens. I wont be activating Muzzin off my IR just yet... And if he ends up with a hatty and 3 helpers I'll be a damed fool
